Comments about Garmont Vetta Hike Gore-Tex Mens Hiking Boot: We do alot of extended hiking and camping trips through out the year. I have many different types of boots for specific uses. I specificly purchased these boots for tree climbing. I am a climber and dont use spikes/gaffs on trimming jobs. All ropes and limb walking. So far I am pleased with the fit and very little break in time. Used the boot right out of the box. I have about 40 hrs of actual use and so far so good.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Garmont Vetta Hike Gore-Tex Mens Hiking Boot: Great looking boot that is put together well. Runs a bit small. Had a problem with the heel shape inside the boot that caused it to hurt my feet in that "bony" place on the back of my foot. Toes were fine and I have other Garmont shoes that are great so I'm very dissapointed!
Comments about Garmont Vetta Hike Gore-Tex Mens Hiking Boot: These boots are good to go right out of the box. I have used them on several 5 and 10 plus mile hikes already and they are comfortable. I was conserned about overheating since they have gussetted tongues but that was not an issue. The only thing is that the lace-to-toes look kind of strange, but it is more about function so it is OK in my book. Overall great pair of boots. Displaying reviews 1-3 |
