I enjoyed my espressos at home, never needed to take it camping but wondered about the vulnerability of the brass tube in camp packs. It broke off after a year of maybe 1-2 uses per week, unfortunately.

Q:
How do you clean it? I left the stove on a little longer than I should have and the coffee had a burnt taste to it. I've ran water through it a few times but still get a burnt taste.

  You might try cleaning it with some oxy clean dissolved in water to clean the stains and taste out of the Espresso maker.
