Comments about Garmont Momentum Icelock 600 Winter Boot - Women's:

My very first hike I put these through a hard core test up an almost 2000 ft climb. They went up an icy draw and I only had to use spikes in the steepest spots. They clung to the ground like champs even without a trail on the unstable downhill. They have enough cushion in the insulation that even that long steep downhill didn't kill my toes. They were squashed into the front of them for about an hour without any relief! Warm and dry, also flexible in the upper portion without losing the ankle support. I ordered a half size up for thicker trail socks which was a good call. I hike consistently and have a large selection of boots for different temps and terrain but these are the winners for my cold weather snow boots. They crossed over to good dirt hikers as well.
