They are great for just about any summer activity--good for the beach, as a camp slipper, or just around the yard.

Took a day of wearing to break them in, but I'm extremely happy with the purchase. Great price, feels durable, good cushion, great traction, dries quickly. I deliberated, gambled and won. Go for it!

Comments about Teva Hurricane XLT Sandal - Men's: My husband and I have been wearing Teva Hurricane brand sandals for more than 25 years. My husband has EEEE wide feet, and the flexibility in fit that the velcro straps give are ideal for him. He wears them all year, in all weathers (with socks in winter), and finds them wonderfully comfortable. The only criticism he would give them is they tend to wear severely on the sole at the point where the foot bends while walking, resulting in the sole cracking. Also, given the fact that he wears them in all weathers and activities, they get quite smelly. I did contact Teva for advice, and they suggested soaking the sandals in antiseptic mouthwash, which has helped. He says his sandals tend to last about a year with his intensive use.
