Important sizing info, please read BEFORE ordering
If you look closely at the Vibram FiveFingers size chart, you will notice that the numbers printed across the top of the chart refer to your foot's length in inches, NOT US size. Vibram found that, due to the precise nature of the FiveFingers fit, the most accurate size translation was in inches, not US shoe size (which varies across brands and styles). ***Please measure both feet from heel to longest toe with a ruler in inches and refer to the size chart next to the size pull-down menu for the right size***

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Womens KSO Trek Barefoot Hiker:

I took them on their first hike in the Mt. St. Helens area and wore the Injinji socks. It's nice to feel the path under you, at the same time as not feeling sharp rocks. I got no scree in my shoes at all, the ventilate well and the are nicely light weight. The toes get a little tight and I had mild soreness while hiking, but nothing lingered. It did hurt to kick the occasional rock protruding from the ground, but nothing ti really complain about. DO try them on before purchasing - they don't work with all feet.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Womens KSO Trek Barefoot Hiker:

I used this shoe for an entire season of archaeological field survey in the hills north of Fairbanks, Alaska. Scrambling over deadfall, up riverbanks, etc. was a pleasure in these shoes. They were buttery soft from day one, were a great way to strengthen foot and ankles while being incredibly stable over rocks, logs and muskeg... and walking through foot thick moss with them was a feeling that defies description. They survived about 600 hours of this abuse without a single tear. I recommend most of the fivefingers line, but these shoes are truely exceptional.

What is the difference in the KSO Trek Barefoot hiker and the kso multisport? I use the multisport for running and hiking but they are falling apart. Thanks!

          A:

The Barefoot hiker will have better traction on trail than the KSO multisport.
