Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Men's KSO Trek Hiking Shoe: I have several pairs of 5 fingers and am a big fan. I bought these to wear casually with jeans, etc. since they do not have any bright markings that make them stand out. These fight tighter around the ankle than my other pairs. This makes them much harder to put on and also uncomfortable after a few hours of wearing them. It's not horrible, but if you have thicker ankles, be aware.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Men's KSO Trek Hiking Shoe: When my first pairs of Vibram Fivefingers wore out I made the mistake of going on the internet and purchasing from a company named "Cheap Fivefingers" [*]. I ordered three pair of what I believed were Viabram Fivefinger shoes. Upon receipt, none of the shoes fit correctly, they were very uncomfortable, and were not real Viabram Fivefinger shoes. They were counterfeits. I gave them to charity in hopes someone could use them You cannot return products to [*] if you have the products shipped directly to you from [*]. I ordered the real Viabram Fivefinger shoes from Campmor and they fit perfectly, and are very comfortable. You can learn from my mistake.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Men's KSO Trek Hiking Shoe: This is my second pair of KSO Treks. The first pair's Vibram soles wore down fairly quickly, and without the lugs they are very slippery on wet trails.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Men's KSO Trek Hiking Shoe: Great shoes, as long as no one notices the toes, they can even double as dress shoes. Just like all vibram shoes water gets in easy at the toes.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Men's KSO Trek Hiking Shoe: As expected, the Kangaroo leather is incredibly comfortable and after half a dozen wearings the Treks molded completely to my feet. The only negative lies in the sole of the shoe. there is a seam which irritates the pad of the big toe on each foot when I run in them with no socks. The irritation has lessened with a few wearings, and I don't know if that is due to breaking in the shoes or the toughening of my feet. In any case, they are excellent and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a minimalist Fiver Finger that blends in a bit better with normal shoes.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Men's KSO Trek Hiking Shoe: Putting these shoes on is much easier when hooking a stout coat hanger in the rear loop.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Men's KSO Trek Hiking Shoe: This item was on my list for a while, but never got the urge, until recently, to purchase. Took a while to get used to them. Thought initially that I had bought them too small. But now with some stretching with normal wear, I'm glad I didn't go bigger. I bought socks for them, but rarely use them. Just not necessary. A little concerned about their durability over time.

Q:
what happens to kangaroo leather in the rain or water2 answers
A:
This shoe will get wet in the rain. You could treat it, however your feet will sweat and-get wet. If you do get them wet do not dry them in a drier, sun or near a fire. Slow drying is a must.VERIFIED BUYER
A:
Nothing. It'll get wet, and thats it. Just make sure you don't dry it in direct sunlight or heat. If that happens, it'll tear.Q:
would u wear socks with these shoes?2 answers
A:
Only use the Fivefingers type sock. Take a look at the Injinji socksA:
For long term wear, two hours or more I might. I have gone an entire day without socks though and been fine, but that was not hiking, just a day out with the family. I find my feet stick inside after about two hours, socks prevent this. But in a shoe that fits this close, you need a very thin sock. the Injinji socks Campmor sells work well for me.
