Comments about Vibram Fivefingers Men's KSO: Great shoe, that performs as advertised.

Comments about Vibram Fivefingers Men's KSO: KSO, a shoe that I will never run without again. If you want to run with these, start slow or walk with them first. Your calves will let you know this. After your body and legs get used to it, you will never want to go back to traditional running shoes again. My joint health has benefited greatly from this footwear while jogging.

Comments about Vibram Fivefingers Men's KSO: After wearing out too many pairs of running sneakers, these were a refreshing change. 18 months later, I can't buy another pair of standard shoes. They are protective without crippling or overdone support. Just don't leave them in the sun too many times - they get a little brittle.

Comments about Vibram Fivefingers Men's KSO: The only complaint I have is that while my big toe is cramped up with no room at all, my pinky toe barely fits into to hole at all!

Q:
How much room is suitable to have left over in the end of the toes? Should your toes go all the way to the end? I have only a little room left in the big toe but the other toes have lots of room left over. Should I return and get a smaller size?1 answer
A:
You should be able to slightly wiggle the toes while still making sure the heel is relatively snug.Q:
Are these good for everyday general wear? I really want to buy some five fingers and these are the cheapest with good reviews.1 answer
A:
As long as you have a medium width foot these are a good everyday wear shoe.Q:
My second toe is quite a bit longer than my first, 1/2 inch to be precise, my foot is 10 3/4 inches long, from heel to second toe. Should I go up one size with a 43 (11 inches) or stay with a 42 (10 3/4 inches)? I have bought the Fila version of these (which come in regular shoe sizes) and when I fitted them either it was a bit too big, or it was a bit too small, I got the bit too small ones. The pressure on the tip of my weird long toe is not painful, but annoying. I want to get the real thing, but I want to make sure it fits.1 answer
A:
The shoe should fit so that the longest toe is slightly touching while the rest of the toes have wiggle room.Q:
I have rather long toes. Should I get the next larger size?1 answer
A:
For long toes go up a size from what your foot measures.Q:
I have flat feet, and generally use orthotic insoles. Does this make the Five Fingers not a good choice for me?1 answer
A:
You can not wear orthotics in a Five Fingers. You may want to consult your podiatrist. The Five Fingers will require transitioning into. There are muscles in the foot and lower leg that need to adjust.Q:
I am going on a trip to the grand canyon, would these be good for it?Or any Fivefingers product?2 answers
A:
These Vibram Five Fingers type of shoes do not provide any ankle support...therefore not recommended for hiking in the Grand Canyon.A:
Some barefoot running kind o people who are adjusted to these can feel the ground and would hike mountains in these.Q:
what do you wear these for water? Hiking? walking? etc.3 answers
A:
Vibram FiveFingers Men's KSO Multisport Shoe's can be used for all of the above!VERIFIED BUYER
A:
They work great for all of those. You will need to get used to them gradually for extensive hiking, so that you can build up strength in your feet.VERIFIED BUYER
A:
Softer surfaces - grass, beach, trails. Not good for all day around town walking.Q:
I want to wear these to my MMA / kickboxing class but am afraid they will provide TOO much grip (one of the reasons I actually practice barefoot). Would the grip interfere with the need to shift and pivot on the ball of your feet?4 answers
A:
Yes the grip would interfere with shifting and slide stepping.VERIFIED BUYER
A:
I won't be able to check back on this or converse; but when it comes to MMA/kickboxing/BJJ/etc., in my opinion it is always better to go barefoot. That is how you compete, that's how you should train. It get's you more in tune with what you're doing as well, and continuously puts your feet through body hardening. These shoes are great for weight training, running, etc.; but when it comes to any martial arts/fight sport training, just go barefoot or wear socks if you are worried about picking up something from the mats.VERIFIED BUYER
A:
Some surfaces are too 'sticky' for the razoring to permit footwork...use a small amount of baby powder on the bottom of the shoes.VERIFIED BUYER
A:
I would not recommend it. These are made to grip and they will. I would suggest dance shoes (I know, a little preposterous) but they give you the most pivot.Q:
I need wide shoes 3EEE, will these shoes fit me?1 answer
A:
Five fingers stretch pretty well. That said with a 3EEE a sprint may be the best fit because there is less shoe over the top and side of the foot.Q:
how do you convert the size?1 answer
A:
