I am looking for a good looking, waterproof everyday walking shoe. I thought this was it. The size was right (11EE), And they were comfortable, until I took a step. Every now and then I encounter a shoe that bends at the toe in a way that pinches my toes. This is one of those shoes. I returned them with no problems. They may work for you, but not for me.

The Mantra 2.0 is a quality shoe. The workmanship is 5*. It is ideal for hiking all day in, its that comfortable. although, with no ankle support I would not pack with them. So far, there's nothing thats not great about this Shoe. More time will tell.

I bought the wide size and they fit my E-width foot quite well out of the box. No hot spots at all even after several days. Shoe is light weight and pretty breathable which is what I wanted. Large volume leaves room for my arch supports.
My only worry is where tongue meets toe box. Seems inclined to bunch up a bit and if it gets any worse may cause problems rubbing on top of toes. So far not a problem, but I often buy extra pairs when I find a shoe that fits really well. I'll be giving this pair a little more time before I decide since they are not exactly cheap.
