They do not bunch up like other socks and stay in place. I use these socks with sneakers, hiking boots, ski boots and now with my Clark dress shoes with slacks.

She mentioned the possibility of trying to find wool socks that look somewhat like dress socks. I am and avid skier and hiker and thought wool would be a good choice based on it's ability to get wet and still keep your feet warm. We had a hell of a time trying to find any that were not real thick and didn't look like outdoor socks until I looked on the campmor site. I purchased them for her for Christmas and she hasn't had a bad thing to say about them.
