Comments about The Mountaineers Books Don't Die Out There - Playing Cards: This is a useful compendium of survival tips ... medical, shelter, signaling and so on. The cards don't feel as substantial as most playing cards, but should be good for a few trips into the woods after some careful reading (and adjusting of plans & provisions) at home. My eyes are not what I would like them to be, so it is nice that the corner markings are bold. Also, the illustrations and explanations are first class.
