The Danner Zigzag Low Gore Tex Trail Shoe for Women was designed for hikers who prefer to hit the trail without high ankle support. But that?s where the differences end. From the ankle down, this boot features the same rugged build of the full-support version: Synergy heel system, co-molded underfoot plates, full-grain and nubuc leather, and 100% waterproof GORE-TEX® liners.

My current hiking boots are Raichle Scout GTX LS, size 7, made in Italy, that I bought from you years ago. I had them resoled to extend their life, as they fit well. I'm going to be asking the same question as I need a high, wide toe box. I love the stiffness of Danners but need to be careful about the width. Sometimes I do better with Merrells although my best solution has been getting fitted in a boys or mens boot.
