Comments about Danner Men's Mountain Light II Mid Weight Hiking Boot - Wide: Got these in time for a trip to Tahoe. These are great boots. Plenty warm with some wool socks, grippy in the snow, never got wet inside, and not too hot once you get inside. Solid construction with top-notch materials.

Comments about Danner Men's Mountain Light II Mid Weight Hiking Boot - Wide: I wanted these boots but couldn't keep them because of the fit. You would have to try them on first before buying. Didn't like paying for return shipping. Size error not my fault. Bought 12E Osolo that fit perfectly. Love them.

Comments about Danner Men's Mountain Light II Mid Weight Hiking Boot - Wide: I would purchase this boot again; it is very well made and the materials are excellent. I also have a pair of Alico Summits and some Vasque boots. The quality and construction is comparable to Alico; both are more seriously constructed than the Vasque - as they are intended for somewhat different uses. The Danners are meant for loads, and will do very well for backpacking and hiking. They are breaking in nicely, and are good for a day hike over mixed terrain.

Comments about Danner Men's Mountain Light II Mid Weight Hiking Boot - Wide: I have owned mine for about 2 years and have probably hiked a thousand miles. They take a little time to break-in and are a tad heavier than most boots I've worn, but if I am expecting rough terrain there is nothing I would rather have. These boots are built tough and will last forever. MADE IN USA. They still don't leak water. The platic insole appears cheap, but does its job well. You will not be disappointed after you break them in. Stable support in and on rocks. Great ankle support. Make you feel sure-footed. I don't write reviews very often, but I feel that these Danner boots are worth my time.

Comments about Danner Men's Mountain Light II Mid Weight Hiking Boot - Wide: Runs a bit narrow, but has broken in and stretched just the right amount for me. But after break in, these are absolutely the finest boot I have ever owned. Worth the price of admission. I will probably never wear another boot. Awesome.
