So narrow that they're hard to zip on to child's leg over snowpants then I put them on my younger child instead but then they're really tall - almost past her knee.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Outdoor Products Kid's Threshold Trailstar Gaiter: These worked great for my 5 year old, we played in the snow (2'-3' deep) and he never had snow fall in his shoes. They strap on tight and stay in position. We put the strap under his shoes and about an hour into playing, it came undone. Not a problem though, I just put the string in my pocket and the gaiter stayed in it's place the rest of the playtime. Easier to get off than on, but, we were out in the cold when trying to do this. If you were in your house it would probably be very easy, ha. These are great and would recommend them. My older kids want a pair now too!

It says size 3-13 for youth. How does this translate to Toddler sizes? My daughter is size 11 and three years old and my son wears a 1y and is 5years old.
