Comments about Danner Light II Men's Wide Width Hiking and Backpacking Boot: I've bought a lot of expensive boots before and these are the first ones I've ever had to buy insoles before. May be because they where trying to make them light for packing, but 5 more ounces would not have made any difference on the weight to speak of and made them a @#$% of a lot more comfortable.

Comments about Danner Light II Men's Wide Width Hiking and Backpacking Boot: The only disappointment was the color of the leather. It is a chocolate nubuck leather, not the nutmeg color that is featured. Too bad Danner didn't stick with the smooth leather they've used in the past.
