Waterproof construction, with lightweight features like air-injected PU and exclusive Asolo FSN rubber outsole, the FSN 95 GTX will provide all the support you need, with or without a pack.

Built in response to the need for a faster and lighter boot that has enough support and stability for backpacking.
1.6-1.8mm suede leather, and Cordura nylon with Gore-tex waterproof membrane insert.
Fully padded, with webbing loop for maintaining proper alignment.
Rounded lightweight metal loops in foot, and speed hooks in ankle, provide smooth secure lacing, and less wear on laces.
'Top 3' antibacterial cushioned insole Asoflex '00 Injection molded thermoplastic provides torsional stability, protection from roots and rocks underfoot, and sets flex point properly under ball of foot.
Air injected polyurethane for lighter weight.
Polyurethane midsole for miles and miles with or without a pack.
Asolo FSN rubber, lighter weight and non loading lugs.

Great boot. Second pair I have owned. Asolo tends to be a bit narrower so I bought the wide boot.

I've had a pair of these for over two years now. I've put around 50 miles of trail time and wore them every day for months trying to break them in. The second I point up hill my heals blister. Never fails. I've only not had blisters once. Ive done around 12 , 10-15 mile hikes. I cringe everytime I have to hike in them. Warm? Yes. Waterproof? Yes. Supportive? Yes. But they eat my feet every time. Your milege may vary.
