Comments about Merrell Barefoot Trail Glove Running Shoe - Men's: I walk or run to work in these - on pavement and on rocks and dirt. I also do martial arts and kettle bell with them. I tried these after being very happy with NB minimus, but found the Merrell's had a bigger toe box. These shoes fit and look great. I have flat feet and through time have strengthened my feet significantly and wear Trail Gloves all of the time. I have also tried Evo's, but for me, those are the best minimal shoes.

Comments about Merrell Barefoot Trail Glove Running Shoe - Men's: After 6 months and about 10 to 15 miles a week, my pair is still going strong. I've washed them 2 or 3 times in the machine to keep them fresh. On the downside, my feet have suffered a bit from the lack of any cushioning. I run on the sand (loose and hard-pack), over stones, and some pavement. I feel every bump and its cost me a week sometimes to recover from the soreness mostly in the tendons of my toes and forefoot. I bought these to protect my feet from stepping on anything jagged under the sand while still feeling like I was running as I would barefoot.
