Comments about Garmont Men's Flash III XCR Light Hiking Boots:

Good boot right out of the box. Boot has worked well but suffered the same separation/splitting problems of an earlier reviewer - fortunately super-glue and RTV seemed to do repair. I have worn on many short duration backpacking trips of three or four days in a mix of weather and the boot is still usable and comfortable after two years. Sole is worn but still good adhesion and traction. I would buy another pair.

Comments about Garmont Men's Flash III XCR Light Hiking Boots:

Loved the boot right out of the box but very soon after, the uppers on both boots seperated at the joint with the rubber toe covering. Super glued but to no avail. Too bad as it seemed like a really good boot before the blowout!

I wanted the same pair of Nike hikers, but they didnt make the same model anymore. So, I figured on giving these a try. After I have worn them for three weeks, what an improvement!!!:))
