Comments about Keen Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiker: This is my second pair of targhees and probably not the last either!

Comments about Keen Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiker: The wide toebed is the best I've found so far for my feet, after trying Vasque, Merrill, ASolo, One Sport, HiTec, etc. Waterproof as advertised and they stick well on most surfaces, or add some microspikes for snow/ice. I wish Campmor consistently stocked my size and I'd buy a second pair. (Chocolate) Looks good on the trail or with jeans for the evening and comfortable for the motorcycle.

Comments about Keen Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiker: Haven't hit the trail yet, so the waterproofness is unproven, but very comfortable and lightweight. Will have to see how they perform with a pack on my back. However, they are the 1st sport boot I've bought that are wide enough to fit my inserts without rubbing against the interior wall. For me an unexpected plus.

Comments about Keen Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiker: if these boots ever wear out I will definitely buy another pair. Not only do I use them hiking and outdoors but have adopted them as an everyday wearing shoe for work as a nurse on my feet all day in correctional setting.

Comments about Keen Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiker: I had purchased a pair boots I thought would be fine for a long hike. On a tune up hike one week before the big hike , I bruised both my big toes. I then bought these boots . I then went on a 5o mile hike and they we3r3e totally comfortable. Even my injured toes were not painful.

Best Uses Comments about Keen Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiker: At first I couldn't be happier with this boot. Broke them in within one week at Grand Canyon. After this, they were the most comfortable pair of shoes/boots I've ever owned. Period. Ultimately, I would not purchase these again though. They are not very waterproof, even after I applied a water repellent spray. I have worn them out completely in one year! Very upset about that. The stitching popped in certain places, laces have broke, and rubber seams are spacing. I just used them at the end of their life working a trail crew and got several blisters.

Comments about Keen Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiker: The KEEN Targhee II is a great all around hiker. It does offer some ankle protection for those accidental slips and falls.
