Warm, soft and very thick. Too thick to wear in hiking boots, but excellent for my "barn boots" that are not insulated, steel toed and very big and floppy. Great for wearing around the house on chilly days.

These are only type of sock that I have worn for the past 33 years. Seriously! I currently own about 25 pair and they last forever. They are very comfortable, cool in the summer and warm in the winter, at least Texas winters.

These are great socks! My husband is a landscaper and walks A LOT every day (5+ miles) in hot, cold, and rainy weather. I used to buy good quality cotton athletic socks, but they got soaked in the heat or rain, didn't keep his feet warm in the cold, and wore out every 2-3 months. I bought some of these Wigwam socks two years ago and they were a huge improvement. They wick moisture away in the summer, keep his feet warm in the winter, and the thick cushioning keeps his feet from hurting. Plus they wear like iron! These socks stayed in great shape for over a year now. They are worth every penny and I don't think I'll ever buy another brand for him.

The socks are OK, but the fit is a bit on the large side. They are also kind of thick for summer.

I am a wildland firefighter and have worn these socks since 94. I wear them with a 100% cotton sock underneath boot sock along w/my Nicks boots. In my line of work they have stood the ultimate test. Very durable, for me have lasted up to 5 yrs, very comfortable. During the summer, I live in these socks.With anything, they do wear out mainly the heal. If you wear both socks and change your cotton sock daily, your feet won't stink and neither will the boot sock. Size boot with both socks on for proper fit to prevent tight fit and blisters. Highly recommended.
