Comments about Wigwam CoolMax Liner Socks: Thought I'd give these a try after reading an article on hiking. I was quickly convinced that liners are a plus. My feet felt cool even with the added layer. No hint of blisters. I'll continue to use when hiking.

Comments about Wigwam CoolMax Liner Socks: Used on lengthy backpacking trek. They were difficult to clean on the trail, and took a long time to dry. They also tended to retain an unpleasant strong foot odor, unlike any other socks I have ever used. Better suited for athletics where they can be washed in a machine and force dried (with a good drier sheet).

Coolmax is a wicking fiber made from polyester. Wigwam claims that the technology behind Coolmax will help dissipate excess heat. If you wear this sock by itself, your feet will stay very cool.
