Comments about Outdoor Research Men's Ferrosi Soft Shell Shorts: I have issues with the trend toward long shorts for men. I don't get it. I had to have these hemmed to shorten them. I didn't like the feeling of the material swishing around my knees. I don't see why so few options with a 4-6" inseam. I expect to hike fast, run, walk in water with a canoe, go to beach in these shorts.

Comments about Outdoor Research Men's Ferrosi Soft Shell Shorts: Great looking shorts, but unfortunately sending back. I wear a 30 waist, sometimes even a 31, never a 29. The size SMALL is probably a 29. These are just a bit too tight on me. When checking the sizing chart, the MEDIUM would be a 32, a full three inches larger than the small. I think that would be too big for me, so I guess these aren't for me. Too bad, great quality fabric, sturdy with a bit of stretch, nice style and well made. Highly recommended ONLY if you are what the size chart states.
