Comments about Outdoor Research Helios Sun Hat: Used in urban and hiking outings. Although it does not have vents, it does not feel hot and can be worn for hours, hardly noticing it. Saved me having to put greasy smelly sunscreen on face and back of neck, brim is wide and protective. Chin strap great in wind. When no wind, chin strap over top gives that cool "Aussie" look.

I can easily tuck it into the back of my pants during long shady sections of my run. The hat size can be easily adjusted and the neck tie can be untied for removal. It's stylish and exceeds my expectations.

He loved this hat, especially the adjustment for size that made it fit his head perfectly. He has potential skin cancer on his scalp, and so has worn many hats over the years, and this is his favorite.
