Comments about The North Face Vault Daypack: I have 8 and 9 year old girls. They both really like this pack. It's has plenty of room for their books and projects. There is a nice organization area that the adds hardly mention. I like the padding on there back. The girls say its comfortable. Appears very well made and likely durable.

Cons Best Uses Comments about The North Face Vault Daypack: I wanted a simple packet for urban use -- like overnight trips where I didn't need much luggage. It is important to have a strong pack without excessive exterior straps and pockets that tend to snag or lose things when tossed in the overhead or under seat spaces on aircraft. This pack is perfect for that.

Comments about The North Face Vault Daypack: A great size for a everyday pack - also works well for overnights. I like the support in the back and the way the straps fit my shoulders - in some backpacks the straps are too far apart for my frame.

The fabric has some water resistance to it so it will hold up to a light mist but continual light rain or a down pour will certainly saturate the fabric allowing leakage to the inner bag.Answered on 3/1/2012 by Betty
