- 22D 382T nylon ripstop shell
- 30D 296T nylon taffeta lining
- Trapezoidal baffle construction holds down in place and prevents cold spots.
- Body-mapped anti-compression pads - Climashield® Prism insulation in the high-pressure areas that are most frequently in contact with the ground. These ergonomically shaped and contoured anti-compression pads create a buffer between you and the ground and are far more resistant to compression than down.
- Fitted hood puts insulation where it's needed and removes it from where it's not, maintaining warmth and comfort but reducing weight and volume.
- Vaulted footbox is ergonomically curved to provide sufficient space for your feet to flex and move naturally.

Lynda, you'll be hard pressed to find much of anything made in the U.S., backpacking gear or not. Two excellent U.S. sleeping bag manufacturers are Western Mountaineering and Feathered Friends.
