This is a really nice jacket. Just watch sizing as it seems to run larger. Then again, I dont wear layers underneath it, otherwise it would probably fit fine, but the sleeves do run long regardless. wind comes right through it, but if it is calm, it is very warm.

deicided on this fleece because it felt warm and light weight while trying it on, also had some good reviews. the long sleeves are an interesting feature, which I have a feeling might come in handy in case I forget gloves.

I can tell you the other reviews are spot on. took it on a hike in 30 degree weather, with little wind, with a TNF baselayer and was fine. nice and toasty which means I could go with this combo in colder temps. then I tested it with a shell while shoveling snow post "Nemo" (high winds low 20's) within 20 minutes It was too warm and had to change out of it. good sign that combo will do well in very cold temps. can't wait to try it as a mid layer in some extreme cold.

Love this jacket. So nice and toasty warm. I've taken to wearing it around the house... I almost hate to take it off at night. Only two negative observations: 1) I have short arms for my size, so the sleeves seem super long to me. But they do gather nicely at the wrist, so the length doesn't really get in the way (I only really notice how long the arms are when I put it on). 2) The green body of the jacket is a little "funky" to my eye. It looked more gray on the web site than it does in person. Not really an issue, more of a heads up to other potential buyers. Overall, I really love the jacket and I would recommend it.

I'm 5'10" 175lbs. and the large fits snug around the chest. The sleeves are long, but not a problem. I was able to try on a medium before purchase and that fits tight, but the sleeves are just right. It was too tight for me. The wife didn't approve of the medium. So I went with large and love it. Not wind proof, but here in central washington it is cold, but the wind doesn't kick up too much, so I stay warm. People compliment on this jacket all the time. Hope this helps those that are on the fence.

Use this product on a mid temp day, 45-65. If you use it in colder temps you'll need a good shell on top to keep even more heat in, but that combo will keep you warm to very low temps.
