Too Short

By John K

from PA

Pros

  • Too Short

Cons

  • Poor Fit

Best Uses

Comments about Campmor Men's Cascade II Rain Parka:

I apparently have a long torso- the jacket fits around the shoulders fine and the sleeves are long enough, but the front of the jacket only goes down to my belly button.

I tried it on and am returning it so I cannot comment on anything other than the length and that the jacket did have a quality feel that I've known other Campmor products to have.

Can get a bit steamy inside if you aren't careful. Durable nylon ripstop fabric, coated for water repellency and windproofing. Excellent for layering over sweater or sweatshirts, and sized for it.

This will be used as rain gear for the Local VFW Honor Guard and funeral detail. So many we found elsewhere had huge logo of some kind on the outside of the Jacket. We were very close to paying more for a lesser product elsewhere.

The service was excellent, as is the product.

Comments about Campmor Men's Cascade II Rain Parka:

I took this jacket and the matching pants on an 11 day wilderness hike through Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. For me this jacket doubled as my wind breaker. It will keep the rain out, but if you're hiking in the rain you might think they're leaking because they don't breathe at all, and the moisture builds up quickly inside.
I could not justify spending the money for breathable rain gear. These were fine for my purposes. They are durable enough as long as you're careful with them.
