Comments about Campmor Men's Camp-Tech Storm Venture Full Zip Rain Pants - 31" Inseam: I still have my first pair and they continue to work but are showing their age. I use them for walking the dog now. I love the full length zippers. Perfect for opening legs for quick on/off and great cooling on hot, humid rainy day hiking. Also nice for a quick windproof layer at higher altitudes on chilly days. They keep the rain out all day but can be uncomfortable (sticky) if you are wearing shorts and it is hot.

I have used them to walk to work, and I will probably pack them for dayhikes, though they are a little bulky. The snaps and velcro make them very adjustable, and they zip all the way up the leg, so they are easy to put on, even over boots. They are a little long for me, but I have short legs, and no 30" inseam versions were available. The pants pack into a mesh bag that is housed in the left front pocket, resulting in a package about the size of a typical water bottle.

The weather in morning may start out okay but sometimes it changes quickly later in the day. These pants come in handy in those type of situations when it rains later in the day and want to put on waterproof pants without removing my work boots. With its dual side zippers I can do that. These pants also fold nicely into a small pouch (pouch comes with the pants) that I tuck into my backpack. One drawback to these pants are that they come in one inseam length size; however, they do have velcro straps at the bottom that I secure around my boots so that they don't drag along the ground...nice product.

The pants lasted one day then I noticed a separation in the seams in the crotch of the pants....had to duck tape them. Thought it was weird...they didn't feel snug. Not very happy...canoeing during the rain getting wet. When I landed for the second part of the trip, had to purchase some new rain pants for the remander of the trip. Wish they would have lasted longer. Campmor said they would replace them....don't want to take that gamble again.

Loved the ones I had last year, until they had a total blowout of the crotch seam. Campmor was out then, but reimbursed my $. Love the versatility of the style, so decided to try again this year. I use them in the rain, but also as lightweight winter pants.

No the Campmor Men's Camp-Tech Storm Venture Full Zip Rain Pants - 31" Inseam are rain pants without an internal gaiter. You can use an external gaiter that secures to the boot and covers over the pant leg to provide protection post holing and from snow kicking up when snowshoeing.

I just purchased these. They are very light weight with no insulation so expect to wear layers under. I am 5'7" and they are a tad long but waist is fine.
