Comments about Marmot PreCip Jacket - Women's: Recently field tested this jacket on 3 day Rocky Mt backpacking trip and on long mt day hike. It's awesome. The pit zips are a MUST and really aid in ventilation. The lining is not sticky, but has a very dry feel. It poured rain during both trips and the jacket proved to be totally waterproof. On the day hike, we encountered 30 mph sustained winds - it is also windproof. I ordered one size larger so I could easily pull my hands up into the sleeves and throw it on over my Camelback. It packs down very small and is very lightweight.
