Comments about Marmot Trestles 0 Degree Sleeping Bag Long: My fiancée and I bought these (a pair that zip together) and we couldn't be any happier or more impressed! They do fit into the stuff sacks provided with the bags, it just takes some effort stuffing them in. They are on the large side if youre planning to hike and camp, but the size is worth it, they are AMAZING! We used then this weekend when crashing at a friends house and the room we stayed in got very cold but we were nice and toasty. The fill is fluffy and thick and wonderful. I love the stash pocket inside. We had no trouble with the zippers, and the bags seem very well made and the fabric seems to be high quality. I'm so excited to head out and do some early spring camping, I think these bags will keep us warm even if the temperature drops to 0 degrees and they aren't overly hot so I think that if left unzipped they'll be excellent in the summer too. Buy it, you won't regret it!

For a winter camping situation I would use a Thermarest ProLite Plus Mattress Regular item # 40760
and a Thermarest Z-Lite Closed-cell Sleeping Pad Regular item # 40786. Additional padding is a good idea when sleeping on snow and ice.
