Cons Best Uses Comments about Marmot Arroyo 30 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Regular: Bought this bag for warmth and light weight packablity. It fullfilled both these requirements completely. My only issues was because the weather was so unsettled(rain, snow,sleet & hail in 2 days time)the bag got damp and was difficult to dry. Will probably invest in a waterproof cover for future trips.

Comments about Marmot Arroyo 30 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Regular: This bag was purchased to best balance performance, weight and cost. For once I actually seem to have achieved this elusive balance. This 800 fill bag is true to its rating, leaving me comfortable at 30F, but sensing that another 5 degrees colder would start to induce a chill. The bag is adequately roomy for a 71-inch 215 lb male, affording the chance to add a layer if need be. Compresses well, fitting in a small sil-nylon granite gear bag nicely. Marmot should consider providing a similar compression sack as part of its offerings. An all around great bag, with the sole exception of a poorly located/designed storage pocket "flap" located right at the collar.
