Comments about Kamik Canuck Classic Mens Winter Boot:

I work in the Sierra's, usually deep snow, cold mornings, warmer afternoons. I'm in and out of my work truck all day, floor heater is junk, I wade thru snow, up steep rocky terrain with heavy equipment, for what I do, something with more ankle support would've been better. Otherwise, I do like the light, easy on and off, good price, and extra liner availability here. Better boot for around the house, snomobilin', etc.

at least 1/2 size too big-don't run true to size. The way they're constructed, I doubt they're fully waterproof; probably just the bottom portion. Couldn't test them out because they were way too big. Had to return.

Comments about Kamik Canuck Classic Mens Winter Boot:

A nice boot for snow/sleet ice. Good price for the features. The sizes do run on the large side. These boots are meant to be worn with heavier socks. The rubber shoe parts are completely waterproof, the nylon uppers claim to be; my guess is that it is water resistant. Removable insulation/inner boot can be dried if it does get wet.

Comments about Kamik Canuck Classic Mens Winter Boot:

I live in the Sierra Nevada, I spend alot of time in the snow. I use alot of snow gear and decided to check out the kamich instead of the sorrels I usually buy every few years. These boots are made well, and warm, but the problem is the sizing. Some pairs are two sizes too big, others are small. I wear a 11, ordered a ten, and the left boot fits fine, the right is tight. For the cost its understandable, but if one wants a superior product one has to pay for it. If I had the choice I would not have gotten mine. So if you are able to see the boots first hand, and try them on, then they are a great boot, but if its not, then buyer beware...It will be hit or miss with sizes...Cant say enough for campmor though, first rate company who sent them super fast!

Comments about Kamik Canuck Classic Mens Winter Boot:

I bought these to replace my Mickey's that I'd had for 16 years but were finally starting to leak. I have not had a chance to use them this winter yet but have slipped them on to take the dog out in the rain. I wear and ordered a 12 and I think they will fit well with a thick pair of socks and room for a toe warmer if needed (hope it is not needed!)

I look forward to breaking them in fully this winter given the nasty one expected in Chicago this year. I will also wear them for deer season in southern Illinois if it's too cold for my hiking boots.

My initial reaction is fully positive.

Comments about Kamik Canuck Classic Mens Winter Boot:

This is my first pair of Kamik boots. Owned a pair of Sorels for 28 years and was VERY happy with them (still using the original liners!). Came time to replace and I had every intention of going with Sorel again. Discovered that Sorel is now owned by Columbia. No problem there; I own a lot of Columbia products and have been very happy with them. However, found that no Sorel boots are made in Canada any longer. All the styles I was intersted in are made in China. Again, not a deal breaker, as I have several shoes/boots made in China that I am happy with. However, when I found that the Kamik Canucks were made in Canada/USA AND were half the price of the Chinese-made Sorels, it was no contest.

After 8 years, my old snow boots were a bit long in the tooth. Enter these Kamik's. Where I live in the Sierra Nevada/Tahoe , we have a genuine winter. I have seen many Sorel's, Columbia, and some lesser brands around. But when I looked closely, the folks who spend a lot of time outdoors in winter were wearing Kamik's. Now, so do I.

Since these boots are wide, The size 11 would probably fit...if you're closer to a size 11.5EE, then a size 12.
