Comments about Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System: Great stove for personal or couple use. We have one in each Boy Scout patrol and the Scouts hike with it and boil water quick and easy for soup, cocoa, etc. The only issue is if you use a pan all the heat is concentrated in one spot (center) which causes burning. Soupy mixtures are fine though. Highly recommended!!!!

Comments about Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System: I've taken this stove backpacking twice now and I really like how everything nests together and doesn't get separated in my pack. It's lightweight and boils water quickly. I found it to be easy to clean and handle while on the trail.

Comments about Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System: Been using one for two years now. Used on day hikes, car camping and lunches at work. Primary use is morning coffee when car camping. Within 4 minutes of crawling out of the tent at 7am I'm drinking 2 hot cups of instant Starbucks coffee. No more waiting 15-20 minutes for the old greasy, oversized, oudated "green propane stove" to warm up a pan of water for coffee on a cold damp morning at camp. In fact, my wife has one of these too, so we bought the JB pot and frying pan, and ditched all the green-colored propane stoves and lanterns for these JB stoves and a battery-powered lantern. Only CON with the JB systems is they're hard to simmer, but you can still get there with some fiddling. For us, these are cutting-edge products.

Comments about Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System: Read a lot of mixed reviews before purchase. I am very pleased with the system. It's relatively bulky, but the trade off i made was from a basic stove, cook pot(for boiling water mostly), mug, measuring cup, bowl, and pot support to this system. It all fits in the cup and my spork fits in the sleeve. The added convenience factor is worth a few extra ounces in my book. In addition to packing, I work outside and make coffee and noodles ramen daily. No trouble a month into use, starts every time and it didn't break in my unintentional "slam it in the van door " test.

Q:
What is the difference between the Flash and the Zip - what do you get in the Flash that makes it $30 more?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The Flash has a self starter a sparker basically and has a larger cup at 14 oz. The Zip is has a smaller cup at 12 oz and does not have a self starter you would need to light the zip with a match or lighter.Q:
I have a Jet Boil some five years old or so and the "spot welds" near the bottom of the cup have cracked, thus leaking water from the cup onto the stove. The unit is not operational in it's current state. Does Jet Boil warrant this type of defect?1 answer

I have an older original jetboil cooking system. I love the efficiency of it but find the cup that came with it difficult to eat out of because of the depth. I have to bring a separate cup and eat out of it. I bought the cooking pot but it is just so large. Do they make a smaller cup that isn't so deep that you can actually get a spoon down into, or a smaller pot? Thanks for the input.1 answer

What are the benefits of the Flash over the personal model?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System has these 2 advantages over the personal system. The flash has a canister stabilizer to increase the stability of the Jetboil system, it also has the temperature indicator on the sleeve and it has a pot support.Q:
What is the difference between this system and the iso-butane system? And where can I find fuel for either of them?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The flash has a canister stabilizer to increase the stability of the Jetboil system, it also has the temperature indicator on the sleeve and it has a pot support. Other than that they appear to be similar. You can purchase the pot support and the stabilizer for another $20, but if you are thinking about getting these you might as well get the Flash which would cost roughly the same as both the Jetboil Personal and the extra gadgets. The Fuel can be purchased in stores that carry the jetboil stove.Q:
