My 20 year old daughter is southern born and we now live 30 miles from Canada. She is petite and thin and I have to find everything I can that is windproof and WARM for her. I had to buy heat refelecting liners for these gloves and then bought down mittens anyway. Good quality as far as workmanship goes, just not for her.

Bought these gloves for a hiking trip to Yosemite during the snow season. My hands were warm & toasty, even during a snowstorm at an elevation of 6000 feet. Highly recommend. :)

I use these gloves for riding my ATV in the snow when I can't get my car up & down my road. Worked well in 15 degrees with wind. The tips of my fingers could have been warmer- not sure how much of the down is in the finger tips....

This is my second pair of down Gordini gloves, my first pair lasted over 8 years. Would have lasted longer but my puppy got a hold of them! I live where it is 20 to 40 below most of the winter and these gloves are the best!

Delivery mishap: Be sure to state clearly that postal services may not delivery to doorway if you live in the country and have a PO Box, as I failed to do so resulting with product being returned to company; Thus waiting and wondering with the elapse time of two weeks. Be sure to follow up on your order and verify delivery via UPS or Fed X. Customer service was very prompt and professional in quick turn around of product delivery with reference to the above mentioned.

To be honest there was an artic cold front moving through Colorado while I was skiing so maybe under better conditions they would be warm enough. Had to go back to my mittens for more warmth. They were comfortable, ended up wearing them when just going out for the evening instead of the intended purpose of skiing.

I purchased these for skiing and they will surely do the trick. The fingers aren't quite long enough. However, I should point out that I have long nails. Not extremely long nails, but that might make the difference between these fitting. Since I am not about to cut off my nails to go skiing,[...]

they are pretty darn good for winter work (snowblowing, shoveling, etc...)...perfect glove would be a bit warmer and have a longer gauntlet....but these do stay dry and have a good grip...
