Q:
Does the 5/16 in. diameter refer to the fiberglass pole itself, or the metal ferrule on the end? Or does it refer to the hole inside the fiberglass tube where the shock cord is?1 answer
A:
The diameter of 5/16 inches for the Eureka Fiberglass Pole Repair Kit is the inside diameter of the metal ferrule and also the diameter of the fiberglass pole that fits into the metal ferrule....give or take a fraction of an inch.Q:
i have a 3 person l l bean tent and one of the poles that crosses is broken on one of the pole sections. (not the part that bends around the door). The section is about 19 inches long and I think 5/16" diameter. Will this work?1 answer
A:
As long as the pole is fiberglass and the pole diameter is 5/16" this repair kit will work. You will need to cut the pole to size and re shock cord the pole set.Q:
i have a 17x10 colemen tent and i need poles for it?1 answer
A:
If the poles are maade of fiberglass, you might be able to utilize a fiberglass repair kit if you can match the diameter of the pole. This is for repairs only, it is not a full length pole,Q:
I have a Columbia Cougar Flats Cabin tent and the window pole has broken. What pole size do I need to repair it?1 answer

WILL THIS POLE WORK ON A EUREKA SOLITAIRE TENT (FRONT POLE)?1 answer

How can I order a full set (4 poles) for a Tetragon 5? How much will it cost?1 answer

Is the shock cord 10 or 20 feet?1 answer
A:
The length of shock cord for the the Eureka Fiberglass Pole Repair Kit-7.9mm is 10 ft. The shock cord length can vary depending on the replacment kit, as the longer & thicker pole kits can have shockcords up to 20 ft.Q:
I need 1/4 inch pole kit. Do you have one? Or can I use a replacement pole 5/16th as a sub? Needs to be 5' long.1 answer
A:
5/16 is just 1/16" bigger in diameter than a 1/4". You are in a better position to determining if this will work. Are there any fittings that need to have a 1/4" pole only attach to the pole? If not then you can get this kit and replicate the pole sections that you would neeed to get the total length of the pole you need.Q:
will this work for the rain fly poles on a tetragon 5 or 81 answer
A:
As long as you have the brim rods you can measure them on the non metal end. If the diameter is 5/16" then this would work. You could piece in a pole section that would repair the broken one you have and use the shock cord to re shock cord the pole.Q:
can we buy just the cord?1 answer
A:
The tent pole repair kit comes with shock cord. However if you want just the cord then Backpacking Pole Shock cord Repair Kit would be a better product to order. Refer to item # 21912
