Comments about Eureka Timberline 4 Tent: I use this tent in south & central Florida for hunting. It's very rugged, reliable, well made & definitely worth the price, which is not that much anyway! I would definitely recommend this tent for any activity.

Comments about Eureka Timberline 4 Tent: Great for moderate use. Heavy use under difficult conditions, especially exposure to UV, can limit the lifespan. Better in this respect than most tents.

Comments about Eureka Timberline 4 Tent: I bought this when my daughter was 12...she is now 39 and its about time I replace it, I think. Used it just this past Aug but it is showing signs of age now. 27 years of camping/fishing trips, can't ask much more of a tent. an be set up in the dark it is so easy and have had as many as 8 people living in it, half of them children, with two queen air mattress' just barely fitting with the door zipped. My kids and grandkids have all used this tent. Had water in it one time when the campground flooded and the river waterline was higher than the floor but the level in the tent was lower than the river level. That one was a shocker, thank God for air mattress' as nothing in the tent was wet. That was an odd morning, mad when I woke to the water in the tent but happy when I found out why it was there, sort of. Going to upgrade to the SQ outfitter 4 and figure it will outlast me. I do recommend re-sealing seams and all every few years. The tent cost me, I think it was $269 or $279 back then and its cheaper now, go figure...and I bought it here, excellent retailer.

Comments about Eureka Timberline 4 Tent: First camping excursion- 3,100 ft elevation in mt canyon, winds 45-50 mph, lashing rainstorm, mid 40's temperature. Result: Under the rain fly, the tent fabric stayed strong and barely moved. Tent temperature at least 15 degrees warmer. Good ventilation even with both ends 4/5 zipped up. Excellent quality, especially for the price.

Comments about Eureka Timberline 4 Tent: I purchased this tent for my son to go Boy Scout camping. It is very easy to set up which is very helpful when you have to set up in the dark and possible rain. I just got back from a Boy Scout Jamboree and saw numerous other Eureka Timberline tents in use. I bought the 4 person but in reality it only holds two people with room for some gear.

Comments about Eureka Timberline 4 Tent: Purchased this for trip to Oshkosh, for Airventure 2011. I needed lightweight to carry in my plane, and room for two people and gear. The tent met all my needs and was very easy to set up. Fortunately we did not have any storms while there, so I cannot comment on wind or rain resistance. Nice tent.

Comments about Eureka Timberline 4 Tent: I purchased this on a recommendation from a book on camping. I got the 4 person model for my wife and I's car-camping trips. There is a prefect amount of room for two people and minimal gear. We have used it twice now. Just got home from a camping trip with several friends. We awoke to a pretty heavy rain and we were the only ones to stay dry. Everyone's tent flooded but ours. We had both the vent windows wide open and not a drop in the tent. Stayed cozy and listened to the rain while everyone else had to run to their cars. So easy to set up, high quality materials. I now want the two person SQ model for lighter backpacking. I would recommend this to anyone.

Comments about Eureka Timberline 4 Tent: Upgrade from Timberline 2. Added height and width yet packs into the same size as 2-man. Floor seams are taped for moisture resistance. Large screen windows for superb ventilation. Easy setup. Sheds wind and rain and stands strong during the worst storms!
