The Eureka Tetragon 1610 is a 3 room tent that will sleep up to 9 people. It has 3 doors and the 2 room dividers are removable so you can have 1, 2 or 3 rooms. The double-coated StormShield polyester fly and the polyester bathtub floor combine to provide excellent weather protection. It has 4 windows for great views and wonderful ventilation. The shockcorded fiberglass frame is reliable and easy to set up. The hooded fly over the front door window allows you to leave the window partially open for even more ventilation even in rain.

Comments about Eureka Tetragon 1610 3 Room 9 Person Tent: This tent was purchesed for church youth group functions. The first trip out 2 poles broke and it leaked. This tent is very difficult to set up and takes 2 or more people to set it up. On the second trip out it rained for half the weekend and the kids were getting wet. There were only 5 kids plus their gear to a tent so the tents were not crowded. These tents were purchesed by the director because of the price. The rain fly is poorly designed and does not cover enough of the tent to truly work well.

Comments about Eureka Tetragon 1610 3 Room 9 Person Tent: My wife an I ordered this tent because its an Eureka and loved the size of the tent for the money. It fit my wife and I plus our 3 children and all the gear. With middle still wide open. Or Two queen air matresses and 3 kids no biggy. Used it for a week at the lake and it leaked every time it rained at all exposed seems on the ends of the tent that were not covered by the rain fly. The storms were nothing real bad. So campmor has a great return policy. They took it right back and replaced with the same tent. Took the tent to an boat in only premitive camp ground. We had two hard night if rain. The tent leaked so much that things were floating. Do you want to be dry and not get wet?? If so buy another tent! We purchased a big 8 person kelty tent. 1800 water proofing instead of 800. Most the 4 and 5 star reviews weren't in the rain! Good luck if you buy this tent.

Comments about Eureka Tetragon 1610 3 Room 9 Person Tent: I purchased this to replace my older Eureka Blue Mesa 1610. Just finished a week at Boy Scout camp and it worked fine.

Comments about Eureka Tetragon 1610 3 Room 9 Person Tent: We recently camped at a campground in the Smokies. We bought the tent for its size. We are a family of five, kids ages 7, 4, and 1. The middle room was large enough to fit a queen sized air mattress with ease. The center room is tall and feels very roomy. We put a full sized air mattress in one side room that fit very well (for our oldest two) and a pack and play in the other room for our youngest. The rooms are separated by a piece of material, same ae the tent, that attaches with little straps at four corners, with a zipper down the middle to "close" it off. With the sleeping configuration we used the side doors couldn't be used. They were used just as windows. Even with the air mattresses and pack and play there was plenty of room for our clothing bags, bags with toys, etc. The fly was difficult to figure out at first but we got it on without trouble. The only downside with the fly is that it didn't cover the side doors well. It rained 2 of the 5 days we were there and saw two small water spots, about 2 inches in diameter at each of the side doors. The water was found on only one of the rains, it was a heavier rain. The light rain didn't produce anything. I would not recommend the floor saver, it's VERY thin. I would spend the money on a real tarp. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and will work very well for our family.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Eureka Tetragon 1610 3 Room 9 Person Tent: Just set it up once so far. Very sturdy poles, it could withstand about anything after you tie it down as recommended. The rain fly is made to function, unlike other brands. Highly recommended.

Comments about Eureka Tetragon 1610 3 Room 9 Person Tent: I bought this tent as an upgrade for my daughter and her husband since they now have a 7 month baby and needed more space. We went camping to the mountains for a weekend, and the tent performed wonderfully! It was a tiny bit confusing to set up (the "instructions" are just pics) but once we got the idea it all made sense. It did storm fairly heavily during the night, and the kids were all still dry in the morning. Not the baby, but that wasn't from the rain....LOL His Pack N Play fit perfectly into one of the side "rooms" of the tent, and we could walk by and check on him thru the screens without having to go in and disturb him. I got a great deal here at Campmor, had seen the same tent at other sites for close to $100 more! [...]d I could not be happier with my purchase, which is why I'm back shopping with you again today. THANK YOU!

Comments about Eureka Tetragon 1610 3 Room 9 Person Tent: Bought this tent to camp out in our backyard or take on short excursions. We have three children and it sleeps all five of us comfortably. The fly does a good job at venting moisture but does not overhang the windows much so if it rains you cannot leave the windows unzipped much. Easy to set up. Nice looking tent as well.

Comments about Eureka Tetragon 1610 3 Room 9 Person Tent: Bought one of these for family camping. Nice room inside but it's difficult to set up in the wind. Stays mostly dry in the rain. Leaked in one corner during a downpour. Use seam seal liberally before taking it out. Requires larger stakes to keep it stable. Not a fan of fiberglass poles. Overall, its a good tent for the money.

Q:
It appears that the side windows don't have that much of an over hang? Could it just be a bad picture angle? It looks at though if it were raining you couldn't leave the windows open partially to vent. There are several other Eureka tents that have clear visible window awning. Would these compare to those?2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
There is no covering for the side windows. Venting would be best done through the front door or rear window with the cross ventilation of the roof vents in the tent body.VERIFIED BUYER
A:
Your right, it doesn't have a large overhang. If you're concerned about rain, you might want to look at another tent. I knew I wouln't be camping in the rain in Central Oregon in the middle of summer - so it wasn't a concern for me.Q:
Do the room divide curtains zip closed? Is there a opening on the sides and more importantly on the tent floor? Do you have a 3 room tent that completely zips and sections out the 3-rooms so a 2 year old can't crawl under the divider or move the curtain on her own?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Dividers do not zip close on the sides or the floor. These are more curtains than sealed off walls.| CAPACITY | 8-9 |
