Comments about Eureka Northern Breeze Screen House with Sides & Awnings:

Used for family camping. Took less than 30 min for initial set up! Huge campground picnic table easily fit. The interior stayed dry when it rained :). Good shade provided. Ordered extra poles and floor.
Previous screen tent was a Geodesic dome, that two hours to set up. It did not keep us dry, as there were no flaps. It also offered no sun protection.
***Worth the investment. Great seams and high quality fabric and screening.

The Eureka breezeway is more like a tent as opposed to a screen house. Also, it is over priced.

Comments about Eureka Northern Breeze Screen House with Sides & Awnings:

We decided to buy a screen house for car camping, and looked at various price points. Mainly wanted the screens, but the rain shelter seemed like a good idea. After much deliberation, chose this, the most expensive model we considered. TOTALLY WORTH IT. We took it on a five night camping trip with two toddlers, and it poured rain the first three nights, with heavy winds the first night. Five people, six chairs, a table, our dishes and our toys were totally comfortable in this screen house, while 98% of the rain poured right off the top and walls. We staked in down and closed it up overnight while the winds blew all night and everything was stable and dry in the morning.

Comments about Eureka Northern Breeze Screen House with Sides & Awnings:

This is a very nice screen house. The ability to roll down the side flaps is great. The aluminum poles are very sturdy compared to other screen houses we have used. It took a few practice runs before we were really comfortable setting this up, but it's do-able with two people.

For a screen house in this price range though, I expect more than this. For example, the rain flap / awning on the front and back of the tent has a zipper running through it. When you prop it up with the included poles, water runs thru the zipper and falls right where you would walk into the screen house. I would rather not have a zipper in that awning at all. This seems like a big usability issue for most people not using the screen house as a tent. Also, the included stakes are made of plastic - in this price range I hoped that they would be metal (weight is not a concern here - this thing is massive to begin with). The tent included a tube of seam sealer but very poor direction as to which seams required sealing (presumably everything that's not taped, but again, for this price I would expect detailed instructions at the very least, or for all the seams to be factory taped at the most).

Having said all that, we enjoyed using it, and if it lasts 8-10 years, it will have been a good purchase for us.

Comments about Eureka Northern Breeze Screen House with Sides & Awnings:

Let me start by saying that we are backpackers. And then the kids came along, and then the move to Miami. So that meant the dreaded return to car camping. We hate car camping but if we are going to submit to it, we might as well go all out. When camping in the Florida Keys with little overhead coverage and a million mosquitos and noseeums, this shelter was a godsend and with one of the sides down, gave us privacy from the other campers in the neighboring sites. Many of the campgrounds have outlets so it was nice to bring a fan and stick it in the shelter. It's super roomy so we put it over our picnic table and had plenty of room for the large cooler in the corner, the stand up fan, lots of bags and toys in one of the other corners and we could still move around our table easily. It was super deluxe and lots of other campers came over to ask us about it. The tight mesh on the shelter does make it hot inside so definitely bring a fan if you'll be in the thick of summer.

Comments about Eureka Northern Breeze Screen House with Sides & Awnings:

Roomy. Full size picnic table plus bikes or chairs etc. fit inside. Good head room. Easiest set up for two (or more) but one can do it with no problem. We bought the floor, but don't plan on using it unless someone wants to sleep in it on a sleeping pad. Sides have sufficient length to keep mosquitoes etc. out. of the structure without the floor, and spills from grandkids (or clumsy grandparents) soak into the ground. Great for grandkids to be outside the trailer to play, even in wet weather. Still requires opening the next day to dry out if you need to pack up under wet conditions, just like any other tent/screen house.

The Eureka Northern Breeze Screen House with Sides & Awnings is not rated for wind. Generally high winds will damage a screen house like this. You would want to set this up in a sheltered location. Make sure the screen house is staked down and guy lines used to stablize the tent in gust of wind.

The review by RVer said "...everything is ties and velcro...no clamps or snaps. Furthermore, I do not know why they did not design the sidewalls to zipper or clamp shut. In high winds there is no way to keep the rainfly closed on the sides." But I see an answer that says the sides zipper shut. So, I want to know if the sides do zipper shut, and if so, do they zipper from the inside or outside? Also, we have an Equinox and love the way it snaps to the poles, so does this tent not have the snaps; does it use velcro snaps or something else?
