Comments about Eureka Hex Screen House:

We use this on top of a mountain to cover a picnic table in WA. We attach guy lines and stake it down. It has withstood many a thunder storm, wind storm and hail. Non stop eastern WA sun eventually damaged our original but after 7 years of summer punishment we bought a new one and if it gives us 7 years of an outdoor living room without mosquitoes, then it is money well invested.

Comments about Eureka Hex Screen House:

Easy to set up and use; when windy is easy to tie down to poles; size fits around most picnic tables some are too long to place under screen with room to walk on both ends. Only disappointing issue is wind pushed screen against edge of table and bench seat wearing a hole through the screen in several hours.

We bought this for our annual trip to Hither Hills State Park right on the Atlantic shores of Long Island. I set it up for a full 7 days and loved it. It handled a pretty windy and rainy evening and the next day dried super fast. It is sturdy and as long as it is big enough for you would highly recommend it.

I wrote this because this tent stays in our yard all year. We love it. It sits under our maple tree next to our bird feeders and my wife loves to sit outside watching the birds and relaxing. Eventually the tent will fail, it is not intended for constant use. We just put up another. It is a great product and we thank you so much!

Comments about Eureka Hex Screen House:

It's a wonderful screen tent for keeping out the insects. Well-built and easy up and down.
Not for rain - however, it has a bunch of tie tabs all around the top of the walls. We could tie up tarps on the rainy side and stay pretty dry. Without a true rain flap over the whole tent, you need to tarp everything inside overnight.

Comments about Eureka Hex Screen House:

With the sloped walls, the space inside feels very cramped. It also does not have any provision for attaching guy lines to strengthen the assembly in windy areas. No shade panels for side either.

Comments about Eureka Hex Screen House:

This tent is difficult to put up, requiring 2 - 3 people, but once up it does the job. I used the plastic stakes once. They are too beefy for my preference. Bought narrow metal stakes, a better fit. Certainly for the money, this is the way to go. It gets you out of bugs and is a haven in a light rain. I have a Eureka backpacking tent and family tent. This is of the same solid quality as those. I go to Eureka first for quality & value for my precious dollars. I was not disappointed in this purchase.

Comments about Eureka Hex Screen House:

I set this up in the backyard to test it out. It went up easily with 4you people. I think 2 people would work well.
i was very disappointed to find that we were bothered by both insects and heat when we sat inside it. There was no air stirring inside, although there was an excellent breeze outside. It was bewildering to be sitting there ina hot tent.
i would not recommend this to anyone.
the two doors are nice, but you have to have them opento get a breeze, which is counterproductive.

No, you can not buy the tent without the poles and stakes, however, if the zipper is failing becaseu when you zip it up the zipper opens behind the zipper pull, that is an easy fix which can be corrected with the use of our Zipper Rescue Kit, item # 21718. Click link below.
