The Eureka Grand Manan Tour is a sturdy stable tent that will sleep 4-5 people. It features straight side walls to create more usable space inside the tent. The front room is either a screenroom or a vestibule depending on your needs. You can store stuff out of the way, leave your wet shoes, or just relax in the screened area. The full coverage fly completely envelops the tent and will keep you dry and snug. The front vestibule flap can be rigged as an awning with 2 additional poles (separate purchase). A small rear vestibule can be used to store shoes or whatever else needs stashing and the second door is a great convenience. And as a bonus multiple zippers on the front vestibule allow you to open and close it in many ways for improved ventilation or convenience. Well ventilated and easy to set up the Grand Manan Tour is a family tent with the ability to please all.

Comments about Eureka Grand Manan Tour Tent with Screenroom/Vestibule: Set this this tent for the first time out of the box and in the dark without reading the instructions. 3 poles and 3 sleeves, it doesn't get much simpler. It held up to some very heavy rains while keeping my gear bone dry.

Comments about Eureka Grand Manan Tour Tent with Screenroom/Vestibule: I was looking for a tent large enough to store my gear and use a cot in. This tent will be great for my camping/fishing trips to Shenandoah. I have used a Eureka Timberline tent since I was a boy scout and loved the fact that it is water proof and has lasted me 20 years. I will always choose Eureka first.

Comments about Eureka Grand Manan Tour Tent with Screenroom/Vestibule: This is a great tent! This tent is ideal for car camping and I would recommend it because of the amount of space it has. The ventilation is great even with the rain cover on. The vestibule is a perfect place to leave your shoes so that you do not track in dirt or mud. This tent is kind of difficult to setup by yourself, however it can be done.

Comments about Eureka Grand Manan Tour Tent with Screenroom/Vestibule: Great car camping tent. Well thought out. Poles heavy and made set up for 1 person difficult but manageable. Looks water and wind proof. Fly covers the entire footprint and has many stake options. Has not been tested yet but that changes tomorrow(magfest, yeah). Wont dissapoint. Cant wait

Q:
Some tents offer 1700mm coatings vs 1200, does this matter to an average camper?1 answer
A:
It may be better to re frame the question, Does this matter in an average rain. the answer is no. In a long duration rain storm like a tropical storm it would matter.Q:
I've noticed a number of tents, including this one, which advertise "no cold weather". Does "cold weather" mean "snow", or "below freezing", or a combination of elements? Thanks!2 answers
A:
I have this tent and spent 4 nights in the Grand Tetons at 9000feet. It got down to 25-30 each night. I had a 5 degree bag which I slept in shorts and a t-shirt for three nights. the fourth night was a 40mi wind and it was very cold in the tent. Only two people. It will handle rain and snow if setup correctly. The cold is irrelevent at this temp anyway. It is cold.A:
Near freezing temps makes the fiberglass poles brittle and they will easily break. This tent should be used for spring, summer, fall conditions only.Q:
I see the screens use a no see um screen. Own a screen tent from LLBean that has MicroMesh, and it wasn't at all breathable. Is this tent breathable even in warmer weather, high 80s?1 answer
A:
If micromesh is a fabric a no see um netting will be better ventilation. If micromesh is a netting the it is likely a no see um netting so the ventilation would be similar.Q:
Eureka has this tent listed as a 6-8 person tent. You have it as a 4-5 person tent. Which is correct?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The tent can comfortably sleep 4-5. If necessary you could fit 6 but it would be tight. Eureka lists this as being able to sleep 6 people.Q:
Is there a specific footprint I should buy for this tent or is any tarp okay to lay down first?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This tent can be used with any type of protective ground cloth. The ground cloth should be slightly smaller then the floor of the tent.Q:
Is the main fly waterproof?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The Fly Material is made of 75D StormShield Polyester 1200mm coating The fly is fully seamed taped which makes this tent fly waterproof.Q:
The specifications say I need 2 poles for vestibule, yet it also says it can be set up with an optional pole. Does the tent come with one pole already? What do I need to purchase to be able to set up vestibule on day 1?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
To set the tent up with the awning feature you would need 2 additional Eureka 6 ft. Nested Aluminum Backpacker Upright Pole Item #: 21500Q:
Can this tent be set up by one person (short person)?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
A 1 person setup would be very challenging. Two people would be preferable.Q:
Do the windows zip up from inside the tent?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The mesh areas on the body of this tent will not close up at all. The Grand Manan Tour Tent has a full coverage fly. The only thing you will be able to zip open and closed will be the outer/inner doors.Q:
