Comments about Eureka Copper River 30 Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag Regular: The bag was warm and comfortable in a semi-heated cabin (about 45 degrees) in Minnesota's north woods this January. The first night was a bit cold, but it did hit negative 20. I like the bag, but the stuff sack has very cheap buckles for tightening. Three of the four buckles broke the first time I tried to compress the bag. I think I will replace it with a high quality compression sack.
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Eureka Copper River 30 Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag Regular: Too narrow, thin insulation, stuff bag too small.
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Eureka Copper River 30 Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag Regular: I took the sleeping bag out of the box and immediately put it back in the stuff sack (which was extremely difficult), because it seemed to be of very poor quality. The insulation was all bunched in spotty areas and not uniformly distributed. I would not recommend getting this although it was cheap. Not even worth the cheap price

Comments about Eureka Copper River 30 Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag Regular: Aside from the zipper snagging a little bit (not that big of a deal really), this is a great bag. I'm not a small guy frame-wise, but I was very comfortable in this bag. I will be camping in the mountains in a couple of weeks and looking forward to seeing how warm this will keep me in 30 degree weather!

Comments about Eureka Copper River 30 Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag Regular: Compression buckle was broken right out the box. I had purchased the long version of this a couple of weeks back and had the same issue. For a cheap bag, it is a great bargain.

Comments about Eureka Copper River 30 Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag Regular: Nice bag for the price. Bought it for my 5'9" daughter and she likes it. Wish the zipper unzipped around the bottom of the bag. The stuff sack is a poor design and doesn't fit well.

Merchant response: A good way to distribute the insulation, it to lay the bag out and store it outside the stuff sack. When using the bag in the field take the bag out of the stuff sack and toss around to re loft the insulation.
