I bought this to take car camping and to have an extra bed at home for guest. It is big, but not as comfortable as my smaller cot, let me explain. My smaller cot is tighter when put together, so it supports my body a little better. The Eureka xl is just that, huge, because it is so big it doesn't get that taughtness that you really need to get good support, it's not bad, but just not as good as my smaller cot. I do like the size though, that makes up for the not so tight pitch when put together. It also goes together a lot eaiser than my small cot. The small cot takes 3 grown men and 2 mules to put it together, not really, but I do have to use a crow bar to put on the end piece. The Eureka xl is simple and easy to put together, but beware this thing takes up a lot of room. I just used it last weekend while hunting inside my 10'x12' dome tent and it was all the way front to back and almost half the width, I could have got 2 cots in there but that was about all you would be able to get in there. Overall I really like the size and the comfort, on a scale of 1-10 it would rate a high 7

It folds out into an ample-size cot and is very sturdy even under my 260 lbs. It's easy to put up and take down and fits well in the trunk.

Very comfortable cot with lots of width. We own two and use them in our Eureka Equinox 6 (10' X 11' 8") tent but we can only fit two of these in our tent. Be forwarned that you need a large tent to fit these in.

This is the most comfortable cot I have ever had. It makes camping so much more fun when I am sure i will get a good nights rest. It is a bit too large and makes is difficult to fit into the tent but the comfort outweighs the size issue. It is easy to set up - but heavy to carry -car camping only for this cot. But its high so it makes a good bench in the tent during the day and the dog fits under it comfortably at night.

Love this cot, but it's just too big (wide). Also bought a Large and that does the job.

Be careful, we have a large tent and these two cots took up a lot of floor space. Went from being able to sleep 6-8 to sleeping 4 with two cots. The tent would only fit 3 cots total.

Cot is comfortable and easy to set up. Made world of difference in enjoying the camping experience. Put air roll on top and could not be beat. Cot is raised to a comfortable level (allowing storage of gear beneath, thus maximizing square footage of tent). One of my best purchases. I am 6'4" 250 lbs and cot more than met my expectations thus far.

These cots are almost as wide as a twin bed, but yet are very sturdy. They are tall enough that you can store your gear underneath. I slept very comfortably on my cot, it was very nice not to be on the ground on an air mattress. The one drawback is that they are very heavy, but that is to be expected considering their size. I also found the storage pockets to be very convenient.
