Comments about Eureka Apex 2 XT - Tent:

I used for the first time my tent (Eureka Apex 2XT) in the Neusa´s Reservoir Park (coordinates 05°09´00´´N; 73°59´00´´O), is a beautiful place to make camping located 40 miles to north from Bogotá (Colombia), there is 3000 metres above sea level, the average temperature is 50°F, in the night the temperature can go down 39°F. The tent worked great, slept comfortably, the size is perfect, the two vestibules gave me extra space to place my other equipment, it set quickly, in the rainy night worked fantastic. I´m very happy with my Eureka Apex 2XT Tent, definitely I recommend to anyone. Eureka excellent product.

Delivered on time. I forgot to put my code on the the original order for a 10% discount. Called the company and the lady said it would be no problem to add it to my order since it had not processed yet. I received the discount. Now that is my idea of customer service!! Used for a motorcycle weekend trip. Encountered heavy rain and high winds with no problems. I am 6'5" so I think it sleeps one comfortably. Huge vestibules, yeah that is plural. There are two.

Comments about Eureka Apex 2 XT - Tent:

I used this to do a 15 mile hike with my husband. It is super Awesome. I love the vestibules on both sides of the tent. The 2nd door is super convenient. Had enough room to place our packs and shoes outside out of the elements. It has a mesh storage area overhead.....so convenient. I kept ton's of stuff up there....including my glasses. I am not sure about it's function in the rain, but directions did suggest adding a rain protectant spray on certain parts. I will definitely do this the next time...but it was crystal clear the days we camped and no rain expected. I would have given it 5 stars if it had been lighter....but it wouldn't have had the extra's that were super awesome. My husband and I split it to carry in. He took the tent and fly and I took the poles and stakes. Super Roomy inside even for the Healthy folks. Eureka>>>Nice Job!!!

I wanted a new backpacking tent, but my budget (as always) was limited. I'm very happy with the Apex 2 XT. My only mild complaint is that it's not quite as light as I'd like; but it's certainly not too heavy, and a very good piece of kit for the price.

Purchased this tent 1991 when my firts son started Scouts. Used it once a month for the nest 6 years. Never leaked, I've had wind flex the tent till if laid on me, and it popped right back up, sleep on 6 in of snow and it has never let me down. It is the tent the kids want when we family camped and they were too big the sleet with Mom & Dad. It has set in storage for the last coupe of years. My youngest sons college rock climbing club is going to Red Rock Canon in Nevada over Christmas break and this is the tent he wants to take. Still looks great after 13 year and maybe a hundred nights out. For the price you can not find a better tent.

The 7'6' measure is the actually floor measure but since the walls of the tent are slanted, teh head space may seem smaller than the stated floor measurement.
