In any West African seating, provides maximum protection from insects, mice, bats, which will prevent good night's sleep. In few weeks, now assured on sleeping well, stress greatly reduced. Provides all advantages of netting--but all the cool night air is enjoyed. If in someones home, bring your own netting is taken as you're being very considerate. Comments about Wisconsin Pharmaceutical Epco Tropicscreen II:

Bought this to protect from mosquitos in a Malaria endemic area in Honduras. Worked for mosquitos and very lightweight and reasonably spacious. Also used it to dry towels on top during the day, but the fiberglass poles are a bit weak and won't hold much weight. One broke.

Even though this is bigger than a twin bed, will it stand on top of a twin or just fall off?

              • Staff Reviewer

                A:

It won't fall off but you should have something to support the corners of the tent otherwise the weight of the tent would put stress on the floor material.

            • Q:

Can the bottom liner of the tent go under a twin mattress but on top of the twin bed frame. (ea., Can I use pop up so that a twin mattress with blankets and sheets are inside the tent, but the bottom of the pop up is actually sitting on the bed frame?

              • Staff Reviewer

                A:

The width of the frame is 53 inches and length is 91 inches. You would need a mattress under it that would be big enough to support the corners of the Tropicscreen.

Is this product effective against bed bugs? Can even the smallest of bed bugs get through the screen?
              Asked on 10/6/2010 by Anonymous

              1 answer

              • CUSTOMER CARE

                A:

Since no see um's are smaller than bed bugs the netting would keep bed bugs out. However you will need to be very careful to keep the netted area closed so in bed bug infested areas the bugs will not get into you sleeping area.
