Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids: great at the ski hill, but i found the same one would fall off . put three in the pkg. did not have to replace the bottomms spikes. Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids: Great product at a great price. I'm a first responder who works a lot of traffic accidents on icy roads, and have come to count on my Due North Traction Aids to keep me safe in unsafe conditions Pros

Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids: This product is very limited in its use. I was only able to use them on packed snow or a very thin layer of ice. Was not what I thought I was getting. Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids: I used these on the ice in November on the Bright Angel Trail in the Grand Canyon over La Sportiva trail runner shoes and they were great! There were many transitions between ice and dirt on the trail, and I didn't need to remove these on the dirt sections. The icy trail would have been treacherous without these. Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids: The first and only time I wore them, one split in half, separating the heel part from the front part. Pros

Best Uses
Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids: I am very unsatisfied with these. Toe box is too small to easily apply to hiking boots. Not enough spikes. Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids: used for gardening on a hillside. Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids: better than more expensive traction aids. you gotta have these if you live in N.E. and walk dogs every day. Pros

Best Uses
Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids: I do Taiji and Kung Fu outside on the ice covered roads every morning. These studds make it possible!! They are also good for running, much better than the older kind, since these have more toe coverage they stay in place better. The biggest negative is that Kung Fu wears them out faster than running, as the sideways motion pulls the rubber and eventually tears it! Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » |

Q:
I wear a Women'ssize 11M - seems like a 'boundary' size between M and L - is there any adjustment (width/length) within a size?1 answer
A:
On boundary sizes consider the type of footwear that you will wear this ice walker with. A shoe you go with the smaller size for a boot the larger size. Boots being higher volume than shoes.Q:
