If you like our website, you'll really love our retail store. Our store offers most of what you see online and more. We have a well stocked climbing department as well as a full service bike shop and an extensive water sports section with various canoes, kayaks and accessories.

Our book and map section has a diverse selection of outdoors and travel publications and videos to help you plan your adventures. How to get to the Campmor Store from the AT

Where the Appalachian Trail crosses NY Route 17 at Arden is a Short Line Bus stop. They arrive and depart several times a day; early afternoon and late afternoon on weekdays. On weekends and holidays leaves early morning through mid morning and returns in the evening.

You would want to get off at the Linwood Ave. stop in Northern Paramus NJ

There is a foot bridge that you cross the highway on and walk south through parking lots to the Campmor retail store.

Once you 're done shopping you can go back to the foot bridge which is on the Northern bound side of NJ route 17 and get the Northbound Short Line back to the Arden AT crossing.

Bike Shop

The Campmor bike shop is a full service bike shop. Our knowledgeable staff of avid bike enthusiasts are here to help you with all of your biking needs. Our UBI certified mechanic oversees the building, preparation, tuning, and repair of all our bikes. We currently carry bikes from the following brands: Fuji, Marin, Kona and Titus. We also have a large selection of men's and women's bike apparel as well as shoes from Pearl Izumi, Fox, Louis Garneau, Giordana, Shimano, Showers Pass, Sugoi, Sidi, Diadora and many others. For your bike accessory needs we carry Topeak, Sigma, Profile, Planet Bike, Shimano and Niterider. We also have eye protection from Tifosi, Serfas and Smith. We offer a full selection of wheels and rims from Mavic, and Shimano as well as stems, handlebars and seat posts from Easton and Raceface.

If you are looking to outfit your vehicle to carry your bikes, boats, skis and other gear on your next outdoor adventure, we can help. We stock roof racks, hitch racks, trunk racks and cargo boxes from both Yakima and Thule.

Climbing, Electronics and Optics Department

Our climbing department carries a wide variety of climbing gear including but not limited to axes, biners, cams, nuts, hexes, harnesses, helmets and crampons. We also carry a large selection of sunglasses, watches, GPS's, compasses, binoculars, headlamps and knives. Our knowledgeable sales staff consists of climbing enthusiasts who use much of the gear we sell. Our sales staff is ready to help you find the piece of equipment that will best fit your needs.

Canoe and Kayak Department

Whether you are looking to spend the weekend at the local lake, or are planning a multi-day sea kayaking expedition, we have the boats and gear to get you there. We stock a vast array of general recreation and touring kayaks as well as a fine assortment of canoes. If you have any special needs we would be happy to special order any boat from the manufacturers we carry.

Our staff of experienced canoeists and kayakers is able to outfit you with the best paddling gear. We carry a large selection of canoe and kayak paddles, pfds, sprayskirts, drybags, safety gear and so much more. Please note that our canoes and kayaks are only available for in store pick up at our Paramus location and are not able to be shipped.

Winter Sports

We carry skis and snowshoes from the best manufacturers. Our products will take you from a day in your local park to backpacking in the Adirondacks to the furthest outposts of your imagination. We carry a large variety of X-Country, BackCountry and Telemark skis. We also carry boots, bindings and poles. This allows you to create a custom package. Packages range from $175.00 for a basic X-Country set up to $935.00 for a lift service telemark setup. We are also trained to mount all of the skis we sell. In addition to skis we also carry a large selection of snowshoes from basic to advanced. Our ski department also carries gear specific bags, helmets, goggles, poles, snow tubes and other ski accessories. We have a staff that is made up of ski enthusiasts who use the products we sell. We are well trained in fitting so you get the product that best suits you. We look forward to helping you find the products that will provide you with the most enjoyment.

Ski Package Discount

Buy any three of the four components: skis, boots, bindings and poles and receive a 10% discount on those items. This can be any combination of those items. (Ex. 2 skis and 1 boot, 2 boots and 1 binding, etc.) You make your own package to satisfy your needs.

Tents

Our goal is to put you in the tent (or tents) that suit your year round camping needs and your budget, from ultralight backpacking to luxury family camping. We have a huge selection of backpacking tents for you to choose from set up in our store. From March through September, we display 20-30 family tents, canopies and screen houses. Our backpacking tent department is up year round with 25-30 tents (more in the summer). We also carry all the tent accessories that are on www.campmor.com as well as in our Campmor catalog. The difference is that our experienced staff will be there to help and advise you. So if you are in the neighborhood, please feel free to stop in for a visit.

Repair/Service Department

When the gear you use and sometimes abuse needs some first aid, bring it to us. Our repair department has the ability to repair tents, backpacking and camping stoves, sleeping bags, backpacks, lanterns and much more. We can handle your repairs big or small, from holes to zipper replacement. We can get your stove or lantern burning again. We carry replacement parts for many major brands of stoves including MSR, Optimus and Coleman. We also have replacement parts for both Coleman and Igloo Coolers. Our knowledgeable repair staff can also give you hints on the care and cleaning of your gear, which will help extend its useful life. We also carry a large supply of replacement buckles and clips. You can also buy webbing and shockcord in various sizes by the foot. We also carry netting, canvas and nylon for your home repair needs.
