I would suggest buying one size larger than planned - especially if you are bigger than average, it is more flattering. The three in one is a great added value feature but the color of the fleece liner is not a color I would normally choose to wear on it's own. I bought one for me and one for my daughter who lives in Portland, OR... I sent mine back. Jacket functions as expected, I just wasn't pleased with the appearance.

Skiing conditions were in the teens and she didn't complain about the cold. So it was thin enough to look stylish and not bulky while still keeping her warm and comfortable.

Worn over a sweater, it keeps me at just the right temperature blocking the wind and holding the heat I generate. If I'm biking a short distance or walking, I zip in the fleece liner and stay toasty warm.

Therefore it will be used as a medium weight jacket for me, since I get cold easily. I still love the looks of it, but at a recent visit to the zoo I was freezing! So it will stay in the closet until spring time.

Comments about Columbia Sportswear Women's 3-in-1 Bugaboo Interchange Parka: As the rest of the reviews say, order one size up!! I normally wear a small (size 4 or 6) and I ordered a Medium. It fits perfectly - a small would have been too small. I get compliments on the coat quite often. It's very warm and comfortable. I have had problems with the zipper coming undone at the bottom though. I have another columbia down vest that does the same thing. You just have to make sure it's secured at the bottom before zipping it up. Service and delivery comments: The delivery was ahead of schedule.
