Comments about Columbia Sportswear Toddler Boy's Steens Mountain Fleece Jacket: i bought these jackets for my 3 boys to wear in their car seats. bulky 'puffy' coats are not safe to wear in car seats as they compress in a crash, creating slack in the harness and introducing an ejection risk. fleece jackets are a great solution, as they are warm but not bulky. we live in michigan and yes, it gets pretty cold here, but these jackets are perfect with a hat and mittens. we add a blanket over their laps if they want.

Comments about Columbia Sportswear Toddler Boy's Steens Mountain Fleece Jacket: My toddler has worn this jacket a lot this fall. Great for having in the car for extra warmth when needed. Not too bulky for strapping into the car seat. I recommend it. Nice for running from car to store, etc. Not for extended outdoor use in the winter.
