Comments about Columbia Sportswear Women's Plus Size Omni Heat Hot Thought Jacket: I'm a total convert to Columbia's Omni-Heat technology! The lining material does a nice job of insulating you from the cold, and with a decent fleece jacket underneath I was fine shoveling snow (while it still snowed!) I have yet to try this shell for skiing/tubing but based on my winter experience so far I think this was a great winter purchase versatile enough to go into spring and back into autumn. I will definitely look into Columbia's Omni-heat lined line of fully insulated winter coats as my next purchase once I get down to my goal weight.
