Columbia has changed the fit this year, so that the new shorts are smaller and have a very short rise. The zipper in my old shorts is 7 inches, and the new style has a 5 inch zipper. Quite a change and not good. I would buy two more pair if I could find the old style.

They are great for outdoor sports, especially water sports. They are very light weight an dry very fast. They fit very comfortably, even with a bathing suit underneath.
