I wanted a jacket that was well constructed and waterproof and from all the research I did this was definitely the best price I found for this quality jacket. I have to walk a couple of blocks outside from the parking garage to work and this jacket comes in handy. I haven't had the chance to wear it in heavy rain yet, but from what I've seen it is great at repelling water. I got this jacket in a medium and it is the perfect size for me. It's not too big if I wear it by itself but I can also fit a small fleece jacket or sweatshirt underneath it and it is still comfortable. I love the color and fit of this jacket. The only complaint I have is when I zip the jacket all the way up the top part is almost too high and the jacket covers my mouth which is a little annoying, but I can live with it. Overall this jacket is definitely worth it!

When I got the jacket it was exteremely large...even with a a fleece sweatshirt under it. I ended up having to return it for my actual size. Once I got the right size, the jacket itself is great. It'll be perfect for my upcoming trip to Seattle.

Right after I got it, it happened to be raining -- hard -- in my city, so I got a chance to test it out. I love the hood on this! I haven't had a raincoat since I was a kid, and was pleased that the hood had a little "lip" on it, and it also snapped together such that it wouldn't fall off my head (like many other jacket hoods do).

I would certainly recommend this jacket for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish rain jacket. It's great versus the rain, but it is very thin and won't keep you warm. Layer up!
